Suspect of XXXTentacion Murder Appears in Court for First Time

The suspect who allegedly murdered XXXTentacion on Monday, Dedrick Williams, appeared in court for the first time early Thursday.

According to a report from Tosten Burks of XXL, a suspect for the murder of the late XXXTentacion has appeared in court. 22-year old Dedrick Williams appeared in court early on Thursday. Williams is currently facing three different charges. One count of first degree murder, one count for grand theft and one count for probation violation.

 

Williams is from Pompano Beach, FL, and has a lengthy criminal record. Although there were two suspects on the scene of the murder, the second alleged has not been located nor charged. Williams was arrested late Wednesday night by the Broward County Sheriffs Office in Florida. He has been held behind bars for now, without bail.

 

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel has promised to bring justice for the late X. “We’ve been working very feverishly on it, our homicide detectives are working around the clock,” Israel said. “It’s a horrific crime and we’re going to solve it and we’re going to bring those who did it to justice.”

 

X was fatally shot and killed in his car on Monday. He was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital. Hip-hop has since mourned the rapper’s death, and have paid respects all throughout social media.
