Tay-K Will Not Face Death Penalty, Despite Rumors
Tay-K will not face the death penalty for the two counts he has for capital murder, as well as the one count he has for aggravated robbery.
Earlier today, it was learned that young rap sensation, Tay-K, will not face the death penalty. The 17-year old has been locked up since last August, on two counts of murder and one of robbery. But, despite earlier rumors, he will not be put to death in his home state of Texas.
Tay-K’s manager, Ezra Averill, was the one that broke the news. On his Instagram stories earlier today, Averill posted the photo below. The trial for these crimes has not occurred yet, so who knows what the anticipated outcome will be.
The Texas rapper is coming off a huge debut year. His mixtape, #SantanaWorld was released last July, including platinum single, “The Race.” You can stream the debut project on Apple Music here.
