Kendrick Lamar Wins Six Awards at The 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Kendrick Lamar was nominated for 15 awards and won six last night at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, including the “Top Streaming Songs Artist” award.

Last night, the 2018 Billboard Music Awards took place, with many awards given out to many fantastic artists.  But, like in any music awards platform, Kendrick Lamar stole the show.  The Compton rapper was nominated for 15 different awards, winning six of them.

These awards include “Top Streaming Songs Artist,” “Top Rap Artist,” “Top Rape Male Artist,” “Top Streaming Song” for “Humble,” as well as “Top Billboard 200 Album” and “Top Rap Album” for his 2017 masterpiece, DAMN.

Kendrick is now able to add to his already extraordinary award collection.  The “Money Trees” rapper has won 11 Grammy Awards in the past and 23 BET Awards as well. This makes him one of the most decorated artists of all time.

Lamar is coming off of his critically acclaimed 2017 album, DAMN, as well as his 2018 “Black Panther” collaboration album.  And with these Billboard awards, he is still going strong, and will for a great amount of time.
