New Music: Tay-K, Behind Bars, Drops “After You” On SoundCloud

Tay-K follows up his debut project, #SantanaWorld, and returns with “After You,” a new track released via his SoundCloud.

Tay-K may still be behind bars, but that doesn’t stop his team from making his presence known.  The 17 year old rapper released a new single titled “After You” on SoundCloud Saturday night.  This comes as one of the first glimpses of new music from the young artist in a few months.  In late 2017, three new tracks were added to his debut 2017 tape #SantanaWorld.  Ever since then, Tay-K’s team had been quiet.

The Texas rapper this past summer was of course arrested and booked for two capital murder charges.  He was recently rumored to be freed on probation in December, but that was then denied shortly thereafter.  And now, it seems he’s still behind bars due to the description of the song on SoundCloud mentioning the popular hashtag #FreeTayK.

Tay-K has potential in the music industry, but that’s only if he can stay out of trouble.  With everything that he’s released, it’s clear that the 17 year old has talent.  However, we’re still not sure if we’ll be able to witness it at all, as there’s a chance he could be locked up for a very, very long time.

You can check out his new track here as well as stream more of Tay-K on Apple Music
