New Music: Lil Wayne And Drake Reunite On “Family Feud”

Lil Wayne and Drake reunite with their remix to Jay Z’s “Family Feud” off of Wayne’s upcoming tape, Dedication 6: Reloaded.

The teacher and protege of Cash Money Records have returned to the same booth.  On Friday, Lil Wayne released the first single off his upcoming mixtape, Dedication 6: Reloaded.  This remix to Jay Z’s “Family Fued” comes just four days after Wayne released his latest Dedication 6 mixtape.

Drake discusses how Wayne, the person responsible for his upbringing in the music industry, deserves more from Cash Money.  Wayne, of course, has not had great relations with the label, as Tha Carter V has yet to release.  Weezy then later on raps, “If money grow on trees, I climb and rest in that bitch…Build a treehouse and knocked the bird nest out that bitch.”  This of course is taking a shot at Birdman, the CEO of Cash Money Records and one of the main reasons why Tha Carter V is still hidden from fans.

Wayne has been on fire as of late.  He’s proving to fans he’s not done on the latest issue of his critically acclaimed mixtape series.  And now, with this single, the reloaded edition of the tape is expected be just as good if not better.

The cover art for the tape has also been revealed, which you can check out below.  Dedication 6: Reloaded is expected to release right on New Years Day.  You can also listen to “Family Feud” here.
