New Music: Kodak Black Releases “Project Baby Two: All Grown Up” With 8 New Tracks
Kodak Black releases the deluxe edition of his mixtape from earlier this year, Project Baby Two, including 8 new songs.
On August 18th, Kodak Black released the follow up to his debut studio album Painting Pictures with Project Baby Two. This, as many knew, was the sequel to his 2013 mixtape, Project Baby. And now, this past Friday, Kodak has finally released the deluxe version of the mixtape, titling it Project Baby Two: All Grown Up. With 8 new tracks, including two features from Lil Wayne and Birdman, the Florida rapper proves his worth in the music industry once again.
With catchy, trap-like beats from tracks such as “Codeine Dreaming” along with “Versatile 2,” Kodak Black flexes his lyrical ability to his listeners. On the other hand, on songs such as “No Meds,” “Cognitive” and “Now Time,” he shows how melodic he can be in his hooks along with how meaningful he can be behind his lyrics. Although it is only 8 songs, Kodak proves his range of talent in each one of them.
Since the 2016 XXL Freshman rose to prominence with mixtapes Institution and Lil B.I.G. Pac, he hasn’t disappointed at all. With his debut studio album Painting Pictures along with Project Baby Two, Kodak has had a busy but successful year, which has been supported by the great music he’s been able to put together and release these past 12 months. And with these new 8 tracks, he’s proved that he isn’t done yet, and doesn’t seem he’ll lose any touch with making great hip-hop music any time soon.
