Mase & Cam’ron Beef Squashed?
After trading diss tracks, it seems as though the beef between Mase and Cam’ron has already been squashed.
On Nov. 24th, seemingly out of nowhere, Ma$e dropped a track on Soundcloud called “The Oracle”. Almost immediately fans on social media began losing their minds, as it was clear that he was taking some hard shots at fellow rapper Cam’ron. With lines like “Ain’t no unity / Ain’t no Children of the Corn / Ain’t no you and me.” it became clear who he was aiming at. Ma$e later confirmed that Cam’s lines on “It’s Killa” off of this newest mixtape The Program was what initially forced his hand to resurface their beef.
Of course, Killa Cam was not going to let this slide. After posting on Instagram the morning of Nov. 24th, it was clear the Dipset rapper was ready to respond. The next day, we heard him clap back with his own clever wordplay and hard-hitting punch-lines on his repsonse track titled “Dinner Time”.
However, as intersting and entertaining as it was to watch a beef between such talented lyracists, it may be over as soon as it began. An Instagram posted by Cam’ron this morning (Nov. 26th) is leading fans to believe that the beef might already be over. Below you can see the a screenshot of a Twitter conversation between the two rappers, overall stating that the rappers feel that although the battle was fun, they are still brothers and the disses were purely for sport.
