Lil Yachty Talks “Teenage Emotions” First-Week Sales

Lil Boat addressed the first-week sales for his debut album.

Lil Yachty dropped his debut album Teenage Emotions last week, and the first-week sales were lower than what everybody was expecting. The “One Night” rapper took to Instagram and offered what seemed to be an apology to his fans, and an explanation as to why the lack-luster sales happened.

“With this being my last few months of being a teenager I am just living with no regrets having fun and enjoying life. And that’s what I did with this album,” he wrote. “I’m glad I made it and I personally love it. Think it’s awesome. I need to see everybody at the local date on the teenage tour singing there heart out.”
