Nav Helped Create Drake’s “Back To Back” Beat

Nav had a hand in producing Drake’s “Back To Back.”

Drake was catapulted to the top after he absolutely destroyed Meek Mill in 2015 with his diss track “Back To Back.” The song was so hot, even the DC4 rapper gave Drizzy his props. Genius revealed that Toronto native Nav, even before he was signed to XO, had a hand in creating the beat for the signature banger.

It’s unknown how much Nav actually helped with the beat, but in a string of tweets from 2015 it’s clear that he worked right along side Daxz, the main producer for the hit.

After the song was released, he tweeted that he thought he heard his chords on the final version of the song– although this remains unconfirmed.

Nav just dropped his first album after being signed to XO, and he produced the hit “beibs in the trap” off of Travis Scott’s recent album. If Nav really did have a part in these songs, it’s fair to say we’ll be hearing more from him in the near future.
