Gucci Mane Unfolds Many Things During His Interview With ‘The Breakfast Club’
Gucci Mane stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ and as always gave a notorious interview.
With three albums out since his release from prison, Gucci Mane finally stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ to speak about his music, his influence on the game, upcoming projects, and friendships. Being that The Return of East Atlanta Santa just dropped, it was only right for Gucci to sit down and talk.
When questioned about his conversations with artists he came at via Twitter, Gucci explained that he was in the wrong when it came to Monica and Rick Ross. But overall, Gucci stood his ground and keep it very real. “If I feel like I wronged you then I’ll tell you … I’m man enough to say that, but some people had that shit coming,” said Gucci.
Charlamagne then continued to ask, “Do you think prison saved your life in a lot of ways?” Gucci responded bluntly, “I think it saved my life and somebody else’s life because somebody was going to get it. I felt like I was going to hurt somebody, you know what I’m saying. That was the whole thing. I just was so mad. Somebody was going to get it. It didn’t matter who it was.”
When speaking about his undisputable influence in the hip-hop game, Gucci throughout the interview kept it real. Waka Flocka, Migos, Young Thug, Zaytoven, and Fetty Wap all came up during the interview. “I’m not surprised at all by my influence, I feel like I should have that influence.”
From the beginning of the interview it was noted that it was difficult to get an interview with Gucci but it was very necessary. Things hit an unpleasant and awkward moment when Gucci hinted that him and Angela Yee had a “history” together. Yee quickly denied anything, and both denied sleeping together. Dj Envy and Charlamagne kept the questions coming adding fuel to the fire. Gucci didn’t let it go, “She done tried, she was on my dick back then.” Gucci continued to bring up incidents where Yee would text him asking him for his locations. Yee denied everything.
Regardless, Gucci Mane looking like he got perfect memory, look at what some fans thought:
