10 Hottest Songs Of The Week [7/20 – 7/26 2015]

The 10 hottest, new songs on rapdirect.net from last week [7/20 – 7/26 2015].

Here is this week’s “10 Hottest Songs Of The Week” list, in which we make a top 10 list of the hottest songs/remixs/freestyles ect that we posted on our website this week based off of rapdirect.net site statistics.

This was a good ass week in terms of getting new music. We got a lot of new material from big hitters including Drake, Bad Meets Evil (Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″), The Weeknd, 50 Cent and a few J. Cole features plus an incredible freestyle from Eminem on “Sway In The Morning“. Tho we mentioned 50 Cent in that list, his new “Drama Never Ends” song off of the new Southpaw” soundtrack did not make the list, it was very close but Omen‘s “Things Change” featuring J. Cole had a slight edge over it numbers wise.

Checkout this week’s list based off of rapdirect.net website statistics below. Also, checkout the 20 hottest songs from last month here.

10. Omen (ft. J. Cole) – “Things Change

J. Cole assists Omen on this new single “Things Change”. This track comes off of Omen’s long awaited debut album “Elephant Eyes” which dropped this past week (stream available here). Checkout the single below.

9. PARTYNEXTDOOR (ft. Travi$ Scott) – “No Feelings

Episode 2 of Drake‘s “OVO Sound Radio” aired this past weekend and of course, had many exclusives. One being this “No Feelings” track from PARTYNEXTDOOR and it features Travi$ Scott, check it out below.

8. Bad Meets Evil – “Raw

The Southpaw” soundtrack dropped on Friday last week and it was filled of dope songs. We got two new songs from Bad Meets Evil. If you didn’t know, Bad Meets Evil is a duo made up of Detroit MCs Eminem & Royce Da 5’9″. Take a listen to one of the songs, “Raw” below.

7. Bad Meets Evil – “All I Think About

As I said up above, the Southpaw” soundtrack dropped on Friday last week and it included a couple new songs from Bad Meets Evil which is a duo made of Eminem & Royce Da 5’9″. Both singles made this week’s top 10 list, “Raw” at #8 & “All I Think About” at #7. Listen to “All I Think About” below.

6. The Weeknd – Untitled

While doing a show near London last week, The Weeknd gave the audience a first listen at a new song of his and of course, they recorded it. Take a listen to the new track below as we wait for his new album, “Beauty Behind The Madness” which drops on August 28th.

5. Janet Jackson (ft. J. Cole) – “No Sleeep

Here is a new single that we got this week that had me by surprise. Janet posted on Twitter that she went to J. Cole‘s “Forest Hills Drive” concert in LA but I didn’t expect for the two to collaborate on a song. Janet recently dropped a single titled “No Sleeep” and when we first heard about this collaboration, it was a supposed remix but, it turns out that it’s the official version of the song that will be on Janet‘s upcoming album due this year. Take a listen below & watch the music video for it here.

4. Drake – “Cha Cha” [Remix]

As I said earlier in this post, episode 2 of Drake‘s “OVO Sound Radio” aired this past weekend and along with premiering that new PARTYNEXTDOOR Travi$ Scott the 6 God also premiered a few new tracks by himself. One was this remix of D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha” single, take a listen to Drizzy‘s remix below.

3. Eminem – “Sway In The Morning” Freestyle

Bars. Eminem appeared on “Sway In The Morning” last week and while there, we got a very rare Eminem freestyle. I expected Em to spit a freestyle for about 3-4 minutes tops but he went for almost 9 minutes and need I say, he did it acapella. Listen to the controversial freestyle below.

2. Drake – “Right Hand

This song is one of the new Drake songs he premiered on episode 2 of “OVO Sound Radio” this past weekend and probably my personal favorite of the 3 new Drake songs we got this week but, it’s too early to tell for me. Listen to “Right Hand” below.

1. Drake – “Charged Up” (Response to Meek Mill)

This was one hundred percent the most talked about record of the week. Following Meek Mill sending out controversial tweets towards Drake, and Drake didn’t tweet back or anything, I assumed he would premier a response to the Philly rapper on his radio show this weekend, which is a great marketing plan. Take a listen to “Charged Up” below.

Thanks for checking out this week’s list, let us know what you think of the new music we got this week, the list & your personal favorite in the comment section below.
